Glasgow International Airport is situated 11 km west of Glasgow city near Paisley towns. It is providing services to almost 9 million passengers annually so becoming 2nd busiest airport in Scotland and 8th busiest airport in U.K. The Royal Air Force is also having a unit established in the airport. There is a limited range of shops and restaurants.
On ground floor computers are installed from where you can find information regarding airport and Glasgow and on first floor general information counters are available.Three hotels are there at airport i.e. Holiday Inn Glasgow Airport, Premier Travel Inn and Express by Holiday Inn. The facility of meeting rooms, secretarial support, telephones, fax machines and Internet connectivity is also available there. Short term and long term parking both are available which is directly next to the terminal. There is an easy access to parking from the terminal via shuttle bus.
